In January, the Society of Latvian Jews, former ghetto prisoners and concentration camps, celebrated its 30th anniversary.
The event was attended by the President of the Society, doctor of history, professor Leo Dribin, doctor of medicine Joseph Shafro, former prisoner of the Daugavpils ghetto and several concentration camps Israel Hurin, as well as deputy chairmen of the Council of Jewish Communities of Latvia Benjamin Kaem and Dmitry Krupnikov.
