71 members of the European Parliament from 20 EU member states have signed a pledge to increase support for Holocaust survivors and their families seeking the return of looted property.
It follows the President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, describing the return of Holocaust-era property as a “fundamental element to restore justice” in an April speech at the conference Unfinished Justice: Restitution and Remembrance.
