The Welfare Center Hesed aims to help vulnerable members of the Jewish Community in Latvia.
There are variety of programs that address the need and improve our members’ quality of life.
Our work is possible thanks to the invaluable support of our partners.
Welfare Center programs are supported by the Claims Conference, JDC, Gunilla&Werner Gutter Stiftels Foundation, Heckscher Foundation, Baltic Jewish Forum, Fondation pour la Memoire de la Shoah, Uniting History Foundation, Council of Jewish Communities of Latvia and others.
With the generous support and contribution of the Claims Conference we are able to provide necessary and relevant assistance to our members with Nazi Victim status in impactful programs like homecare, medicine, food and others.
